Col de
Sud
Every athlete has a mountain.
For some, it's completing their first 5km.
For others, it's crossing the finish line of an Ironman.
Sometimes it's simply becoming healthier than you were yesterday.
Every journey begins with one decision.
The meaning behind Col de Sud
Col de Sud is French for The Southern Pass.
A mountain pass isn't the destination. It's the road that takes you there.
Ara Maunga is Māori for The Mountain Path.
Not the summit. The path.
Because mountains aren't climbed in a single day. They're climbed one step, one ride, one session and one decision at a time.
The logo tells that story.
The mountain represents the challenge. The path represents the journey. The koru symbolises growth, resilience and new beginnings.
But there is another meaning that is deeply personal.
The three koru within the logo also represent my three children — Sébastien, Léon and Florence. They remind me why I keep showing up. Why I keep growing. Why Col de Sud exists.
This isn't about
chasing perfection.It's about
showing up.
Again. And again.
Because consistency always beats motivation.
Whether your mountain is your first event, a personal best, an Ironman or simply becoming healthier than you were yesterday…
The journey is yours. I'm simply here to help you find the path.
Welcome to Col de Sud.
Ara Maunga.
Every athlete has a mountain.
Find yours.
